What is it that God has put in place to help guard our hearts and minds?

Please consider the following questions…Where is your mind at today? Is it in a state of unrest? Is it consumed with something unhealthy? Does it feel like it’s influenced by anything and everyone other than God? If so, then what is it in the verses below that WILL protect / be a safeguard for your mind?

• Heart / Mind…these two words are often used interchangeably and synonymously in Scripture:
  • Philippians 4:7 (NLT) Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
  • Isaiah 26:3 (CSB) You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you.
  • Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
