James 4:2c-3 (NLT) you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. 3 And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.
Philippians 4:6 (NIV) Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Oftentimes it'll just so happen that I'll glance at the clock at exactly 11:11. Like many of you, my family and I like to make our own personal wishes/prayers/requests at that time. Can't help but think my wishes are coming true, especially after my daughter's wedding this past Saturday. See, my 11:11 wishes/prayers/requests have always included the same three requests... One, that my daughters would marry godly men. Secondly, that every member within my family would remain faithful to the Lord. And Lastly, that every member within my family would always love/serve the Lord their God with their whole heart. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! So, what is your 11:11? Enjoy putting some thoughts together...thoughts that the Holy Spirit will find the perfect time to remind you of what to be wishing/praying for/requesting. Hope you're off to a wonderful start to your New Year. Wishing you the best, Nate
