Men,
Each day we’re faced with differing attitudes. Attitudes in person, in song, in social media, in entertainment, in the workplace, in the home, etc. And each day we’re faced with a decision of what attitudes we’ll adopt. Who and or what are we allowing to influence our attitude development? The answer should be obvious. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 2:5 (CSB) that we are to “Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus.” When I typed in “What are some attitudes of Christ” here’s what AI spit out…
My challenge to each of us is to ask ourselves when we act a certain way, “Where did this attitude come from?” “Where did I learn it from?” Let me encourage you to spend some time in His Word and look for attitudes of Christ. What did you learn from Him as you were reading and how can you apply that to your life? Would others say that it’s obvious as to where you learned your attitudes from? Would it be said that you learned and adopted them from Christ? My prayer is that those around us could get a glimpse of Jesus just by observing our attitudes. What message are they receiving? Practicing His Presence, Nate
